Cult Hideout: UE4 Demo

Summary

For this fun portfolio project, I modeled a door for the theme ‘cult hideout’ and created a level design around it.

Process

I started by modeling the door in ZBrush using Zmodeler, then unwrapped it in Blender and textured it in Substance Painter.

In Unreal Engine, I used assets from Megascans as well as some freebies I’ve accumulated in my Unreal vault to assemble the building, create flaming skull torches, and place accent assets. I also created a spline blueprint for the fencing surrounding the main building.

 

Gameplay Video

I used the ‘Drongo’ character from the free Paragon pack to show the scene in realtime.
