Where Do You Live?

This educational video was a remake of an old Flocabulary video to teach kids vocabulary terms. I art directed, which included creating a mood board, writing a full shot list, collaborating with the curriculum and audio teams, and reviewing artwork.

For the visuals, I wanted the artwork to take inspiration from the film Ponyo. The goal was to emphasize belonging through a sense of coziness, which I encouraged our illustrator & animator for the project to convey through framing and clutter, building familiarity with setting through repetition, and showing close connections with other characters.
