2D FX Animations
A collection of 2D effects and other animations I created as side projects.
Waterfall
Created a stylized waterfall effect in After Effects using only native plugins (CC Particle Systems II).

Space Knight
I created the effects and animated all elements for this project, utilizing CC Particle Systems II, 3D lighting effects, and simple puppet pinning for the character animation.

Used ripple, motion blur, and a matte choker on top of a CC Particle Systems II effect.

I animated all the elements for this piece and created the flame effect.
Flame Effect
This effect is a combination of CC Particle Systems II, ripple, turbulent displace, glow, motion blur, and a matte choker. I then color adjusted and added the smaller particles.

When using Trapcode Particular on another project, I noticed that it was possible to get some interesting results from combining Particular with edge effects. I made this piece to demonstrate how the combination of effects looks in a final design.
